How Did You First Start Playing Rugby?

I offhandedly mentioned that I wanted to play rugby to a girl who happened to be on the team. She caught me on her way to practice as I was walking home for a nice nap and said I should stop by and check it out. So I did, and haven’t stopped going since.

Outside Of Playing Rugby, What Do You Like To Do?

I enjoy spending my downtime out in nature and painting.

Who Are Your Biggest Role Models?

My parents are my biggest role models. They’ve always led by example and taught me that it’s never too late to try something new and to always pursue my dreams.

Are You A Fan Of Any Professional Teams?

I grew up watching a lot of tennis and my favorite player is Serena Williams. As for rugby, I’ve always liked the New Zealand All Blacks.

Do You Have Any Sports-Related Superstitions?

I always wear my favorite spandex and sports bra to a game. I also bring a Snickers bar to eat after, but that’s more motivation than superstition.

What’s Your Favorite Sports Memory?

My favorite memory is from between games at my first sevens tournament. I was laying like a starfish on the ground and gasping for air. I remember saying to my coach, “I’m never moving again” and minutes later I was back on the field playing in the next game. It was a surreal experience.
