Letter to the Editor – Olear

I write to enthusiastically endorse KT Tobin for the New Paltz Village Board. She brings a vast base of knowledge, saintly patience, keen intelligence and a genuine desire to help others — all important qualities in a representative. Also, she’s lived here a long time, she knows the ins and outs of the community, she has a long history of political activism and she loves the Village.

 

I’ve lived in the area for 12 years and the village for six. During that time, I came to rely on her judgment in all political matters. If I ever had any questions about local politics — what stance I should take on a position, whom I should vote for in an election, the ins and outs of proposals on a ballot — she was the first person I turned to for help. I knew that she had the right mix of prudence, patience, intelligence and political savvy to answer my questions, and that her counsel would be good. Simply put, there’s no one I trust more than KT to make the right decisions for the village, and there’s not a single individual in the village I’d rather see on our Board than KT Tobin. 

 

I urge you to give her your vote on May 2.
