The Hawks defeated Fredonia on Friday, Oct. 21 by a score of 2 – 0. During the game, the team out shot the Blue Devils by an 18 to 7 margin and third-year goalkeeper Stephanie Vega netted her 10th shutout of the season, which extended her single season program record.
On Oct. 4 the Hawks were moved up to the No. 9 spot in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Women’s East Regional Rankings, making them the highest ranked SUNYAC program in the poll.
