What’s your instrument of choice and why?
Guitar. I played trumpet throughout grade school, but I could never really connect with the music. Guitar is the first instrument I really fell in love with.
What are you involved with musically?
I’m not associated with any music on campus, but I work on a ton of music off campus. I play acoustic shows with Dylan Robinson whenever we can and I also make rap instrumentals for fun.
Who are your biggest influences?
My biggest influence is definitely A Tribe Called Quest.
Who have you been listening to lately?
J Cole. Slightly Stoopid. Dispatch.
What’s your plan for the future?
I don’t really have too many plans for the future. I really hope it involves a lot of
music though.
Any advice for aspiring musicians?
My advice for any musician is to practice every day. If music is what you love then you can never take a day off.
