Unison Arts Center’s 27th Annual Craft, Art and Design Fair will be held on Dec. 2 and Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is the premiere winter event in New Paltz. The Hudson Valley has long been a hot bed of talent and creativity. Unison is bringing some of the finest artisans together for this holiday show at SUNY New Paltz in the Student Union’s (SUB) stunning Glass Atrium Building. Located half a mile from Main Street (Route 299) on Route 32 South, New Paltz.
Local artisans will exhibit a variety of handmade work in diverse materials: functional and decorative ceramics; fiber and wearable arts, felted, quilted, hand-dyed and knitted; furniture, and woodturning. There will also be a contemporary clock maker, luthier, leather worker, basket maker and paintings in oil and pastel. A wide choice of work by jewelers who create pieces with silver, cloisonné, mixed metals and unique beads, as well as holiday ornaments, handmade books, and highly decorative cards will be shown. For green gifts you can find heirloom seeds, natural soaps, hand-spun yarns, and crafted wreaths.
This unique fair will fulfill all holiday gift needs while being affordable at the same time. It is a one-of-a-kind chance to get to know and observe the breadth of local talent in the Hudson Valley.
Don’t miss this unusual opportunity to see and purchase extraordinary handmade crafts and fine arts.
