2024 is geared up to be the year for new music. Big names like Billie Eilish, who hasn’t released an album since 2021, Beyoncé and Lana Del Rey, who both announced that they are dipping their toes in country music and even Taylor Swift will all be putting out new music in the coming months. Lizzy McAlpine, Kacey Musgraves, Fletcher, girl in red and Maggie Rogers have already released singles, getting listeners excited for their new releases, each with albums coming out in the next few months. British indie rock band, The Last Dinner Party, wasted no time on the 2024 calendar and released their debut album on Feb. 2. Remi Wolf, whose latest album “Juno (Deluxe)” came out in 2022, has teased new music with the use of her newsletter, something many artists have begun to do. Even Reneé Rapp, whose debut album came out not even a year ago, has told interviewers to expect her next album within the year. With releases coming from seemingly every artist I have ever listened to, my biggest concern is, when will I find the time to listen to all of it?
