Circle K International 

What They Do

Circle K International is one of the largest university service leadership organizations in the world. They perform half a million hours of service each year throughout chapters around the world, with more than 13,700 members in 19 nations.The SUNY New Paltz Circle K Club has contributed both service and donations to projects like March of Dimes, the ELIMINATE project and the Special Olympics Organization. They’ve also volunteered at soup kitchens, retirement homes, town cleanups and shelters for domestic violence.

Queens and Kings of New Paltz

What They Do

Queens and Kings of New Paltz is the drag club on campus that explores the art of drag, an art form that has a long history of resistance and acceptance within the LGBTQIA+ community. The club focuses on challenging the cis-heteronormative society we live in, while emphasizing self exploration and expression. Queens and Kings of New Paltz host shows on campus every semester that hope to bring the LGBTQIA+ community together. Their goal is to unite the LGBTQIA+ community on campus and create a safe space for people looking to explore drag.

Queens and Kings of New Paltz meet on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. in SUB 402. You can also get involved by attending their shows on campus. Keep your eyes peeled for their upcoming performances via social media.
