How Did You First Start Playing Rugby?
One of my roommates was on the team and I played football in high school, so I gave it a try during my sophomore year at New Paltz. I fell in love with it immediately.
Outside Of Rugby, What Do You Like To Do?
I lowkey really like to sing and I love to play video games, especially Madden 08 of late.
Who Are Your Biggest Role Models?
Marshawn Lynch has recently been a big person in my rugby life. The man ran harder and stronger than most players in a while. Personally, it’s definitely my parents. They are the best and always there for me.
Are You A Fan Of Any Professional Teams?
I am a big New York Giants and New York Rangers fan. Also I’m a huge New York Mets fan. In rugby, the All Blacks are always fun to watch and I like the Western Force because of Nick “Honey Badger” Cummings.
Do You Have Any Superstitions?
If I don’t listen to “X Gon’ Give It To Ya” by DMX before a game, I feel that there’s something missing in my game.
What’s Your Favorite Sports Memory?
It has to be being part of an undefeated rugby team that has great connection and truly embodies our mantra “15 makes 1.” It continues as of now and I hope it never ends.
