For the first time in program history, the Lady Hawks are SUNYAC Champions. In a 1-0 contest, the New Paltz Women’s Soccer team defeated the No.1 seeded SUNY Cortland in the tournament final on Nov. 5, securing not only a SUNYAC Championship title, but a berth into the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship tournament. “It was of course unbelievable,” Head Coach Colleen Bruley said. “I just bent over and started crying. Tennis Team Aims for Divisions

With a current record of 13-4, the New Paltz Tennis team is hoping to finish the final three matches in their spring season and compete in the NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Championships in May. Head Coach Robert Bruley said he believes their spring season has been a lot tougher than the one they finished this fall, due in part to the non-conference games against private schools the Hawks have faced.
