“I am interested in the figure, expression, emotionality captured in gesture. My work is extremely personal, often autobiographical…I like to think it’s kind of like if Egon Schiele, Francis Bacon and Nan Goldin all miraculously had a lovechild. My top five all-time favorite musical artists are Tom Waits, Nick Cave, The Clash, Ceremony and Fiona Apple. I’m from the Binghamton area and I love cats. My thesis show is up Dec. 9 to 13 at The Dorsky. The opening reception is from 5 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 9. Come party.”
