What They Do

The New Paltz Feminist Collective takes an intersectional feminist approach aimed at educating the campus about a wide range of issues. Their mission is to open an inclusive and intersectional feminist dialogue on campus in a way that is fun, easy and accessible. They hold weekly meetings and discuss topics in an open forum. At the meetings, they have PowerPoints with information and discussion questions to accompany the conversation. They try to create an interactive space for members. They also hold workshops with campus officials. For example, this November they will have one with Crime Victim Counselor and advocate Amy Westberg.

How to Get Involved

The New Paltz Feminist Collective holds weekly meetings on Mondays at 8 p.m. in SUB 408. All are welcome to come participate in their discussions and events.
