How Did You First Start Playing Basketball?
I first started playing in my backyard just shooting around and then I played on an organized team when I was in seventh grade and absolutely fell in love with the game.
Outside Of Basketball, What Do You Like To Do?
Outside of basketball I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, going for runs through my neighborhood, watching “The Bachelor” and
“New Girl” and jamming out with my dog in the living room.
Who Are Your Biggest Role Models?
Derek Jeter has been my role model since I was about five years old. Growing up I always admired his class and modesty along with his drive to be the best and his “never satisfied” mentality.
Are You A Fan Of Any Professional Teams?
I have been a New York Yankees fan my whole life and I’m also a New York Giants fan. I follow most sports but I don’t have particular team preferences. I also enjoy watching the UConn women’s basketball team blow other teams out.
Do You Have Any Sports-Related Superstitions?
I pray and give thanks before every game for the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love with great people.
What’s Your Favorite Sports Memory?
My favorite sports memory would have to be when I was the only girl playing little league baseball and my coach wouldn’t let me pitch. Finally, the last inning of our last game, after weeks of losses, he let me on the mound and I struck out three boys in a row. I just smiled at my coach while he apologized for waiting so long to give me a chance.
